Dr. Alvaro Testa is a highly trained surgeon who is focused on providing quality, compassionate and innovative plastic surgical services to the people of Southern Colorado .  His interest in plastic and reconstructive surgery stems from his desire to restore form and function in a precise manner that is also aesthetically optimal.

Dr. Testa received his undergraduate degree in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology from the University of Colorado- Boulder. He completed his medical school training at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center in Denver and then proceeded into surgical training.

Dr. Testa completed his General Surgery residency in Phoenix, Arizona at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Surgery. He then proceeded to further his training in plastic, hand, and reconstructive surgery at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina.

Dr. Testa’s extensive training in microsurgical breast reconstruction, cosmetic surgery, and body contouring affords him a unique level of expertise in these areas.
